The North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association would like to recognize several of our member coaches who were honored by the NCHSAA with statewide Awards this year.
- Larry Williford (Farmville Central) was named the NCHSAA’s Harvey Reid Male Coach of the Year
- Dee Hardy (E.E. Smith) was named the NCHSAA’s 2021 Toby Webb Outstanding Female Coach
- Rachel Clark (Southeast Guilford) was named the 2019-20 NCHSAA & NFHS State Girls Basketball Coach of the Year
- George Stackhouse (Westover HS) was named the 2019-20 NCHSAA & NFHS State Boys Basketball Coach of the Year
- Michael Mosley (SouthWest Edgecombe) was named the Region 3 recipient of the NCHSAA’s Homer Thompson Memorial “Eight Who Make A Difference” Award
- Lavar Batts, Sr (JM Robinson) was named the Region 6 recipient of the NCHSAA’s Homer Thompson Memorial “Eight Who Make A Difference” Award
